Since publishing her first play at age 17, Melbourne-based Alex Lee has worn her writer, producer and/or director hats in a number of collaborations including pantomimes, comedies, short plays and online videos.
With a Bachelor of Psychology & Management/Marketing from Monash University, she’s also cut her teeth in event public relations and advertising.
Alex worked for nearly two years as a Script Coordinator and Storyliner on Neighbours and was a finalist in ABC2’s 2008 travel show, Fanging It. She’s published eight books in the Zac Power Spy Camp series, a short play for Pearson Education’s Explore magazine and two plays with the Australian Script Centre (The Final Bell, Porky Pies).
These days Alex juggles web copywriting, TV and children’s writing with study (Professional Writing & Editing at RMIT) and a huge drive to get her books out there and enjoyed by kids the world over.
